Bought this 5 pound assortment because the random mix matches the product photos perfectly. It's rare to see since sellers normally just dump leftover inventory into a bag.Total count sits right around 400 pieces. Every single one is individually wrapped. The candies are incredibly fresh. I didn't find any sticky wrappers or melted messes from sitting in old warehouse stock, meaning the sugar rush hits with low latency like a 1ms 144Hz gaming monitor. I dropped this whole bag off with the front office staff at my 6 and 9 year old daughters' elementary school and they wiped it out entirely.Expected cheap fillers but the variety appeals to a wide range of teacher preferences. It covers everything from a quick mint craving to a strong fruit kick. Excellent option for office bowls or whenever feeding a large group.

I'm usually more of a chocolate candy person but I've been craving some hard candy of late, so I grabbed this variety pack. I weighed the bag and it is right at 5 pounds and the assortment is quite varied. There are a lot of Jolly Rancher candies for those that love them. The rest is a very nostalgic assortment of fruity hard candies, all very tasty. Fortunately, I am not eating these all by myself so I can attest that others found the candy flavorful and fresh as well.If you enjoy hard candy I don't think you can go wrong with this product, you are getting a lot for the price. If you're looking for a name brand assortment, I think you're going to pay a good bit more and going to need to buy something different. That said, Jolly Rancher is well represented as I said previously and we do enjoy them.

First thing to note is that they put a fairly random ingredients list on the outside of this. Every single thing in there obviously doesn't have the same ingredients. They just put that out there to have something there.Second thing to know is that all this hard candy can pack it in there is going to result in some of the hard candy being inedible. Some of mine was loose in there. Some of it was crumbled up in the bottom. The majority of it was edible though. Well, the vast majority. They were only a few pieces that were inedible.I'd say by weight the most common candy in there are those Arcor fruit candies. The funny thing about those candies is that they are not technically for the American market. The wrapper is entirely in Spanish. It certainly appears to be for their home market, which is the Argentinian market. I have absolutely no idea when those expire, because they are not labeled for individual sale. They don't taste old, but it takes a very long time for hard candy to taste old. Anyone who has ever eaten candy out of an elderly relative's candy dish can attest to that.Everything in the bag has roughly the same texture of course. It's hard candy. There's not a whole lot of texture variety and hard candy. Most of it is the smooth type of hard candy. It all seems random.One discrepancy that I don't mind between the pictures on Amazon and the reality of the bag is the fact that those striped mints are not even close to being as well represented as they are in the listing.Some of the problems with the candy are entirely aesthetic. Meaning, some of them are a bit ground up, but the majority of the candy is there. Most of them are still in their individual wrappers. Some aren't though.It's rather difficult to say what the value for money is like on this. The problem is it's a bag of random candy, some of which isn't even meant for the American market, with a random ingredients list on the outside and a completely non-verifiable expiration date. It would be a good deal, if everything in there was good.

This is a great assortment of clsssic hard candies. The size of this is amazing. You get so much making this such a great value. Perfect for filling up a candy jar at home or at work. They all look great too. The colors look nice and bright. And the taste is great too. Definitely nice and fresh tasting. I love the lollipops, they are really good. The smaller candies remind me of what grandma would have known in her candy dish. They are hard on the outside with a slightly softer inside texture. They are not wet inside, just squishy. The other candies are solid. Overall a great value.

This bulk hard candy mix makes very nice treats and has a good assortment of classic fruit and mint flavors. It is great for candy bowls, offices, parties, and handing out small treats. The individually wrapped pieces are convenient, and there is a generous amount for the price, which makes it feel like a good value.That said, some of the harder candies, like the Jolly Rancher style pieces and lollipop candies, arrived broken into smaller pieces. They came packed in just a plastic bag, so depending on how it is shipped, that could be the reason. The candy itself tastes fine, but sturdier packaging would really help prevent breakage. I would still recommend it, especially if presentation is not critical, but better packaging would make it even better.
